The Office Club once again were in the mix in 3rd spot, with Wesley Van Dyk’s 23 goals firing West End FC to 4th. A 3-1 win in their last game completed an unbeaten campaign, and left Centurions rueing a last-game defeat in an otherwise great run of results. Midnight Oil left it late to steal the Winter League title away from Staple Hill Centurions. Rocksteady FC arguably had the best combination in the league with top assister Jacob Hood feeding 19-goal top scorer Omar Oscar Miranda and leading them to 11th, just ahead of Zamza Barbarians, Piraeus Desperados and Dallas Texans, all well in touch with the early pacesetters. Craggy also got their Sunday Leaguers into the top 10, alongside Itchen Saints and Wally & the WingBacks FC. Lurking with menace just behind these were two perennial title contenders in Craggy Island FC and FC Baza. Masters stalwarts La Masia Academy and StrictlyButterSideUp also made very strong starts to the season, joining Olympiacos on 31 points. This was enough to hold off long-time rival Olympiacos FC – the only other side to play through all 12 matches unbeaten.
